FAQ

Are you supposed to exfoliate or shave first?

You should exfoliate your skin prior
to shaving as exfoliating first will help prevent the razor from
becoming overloaded with dead skin cells — which can clog your razor and
make it less effective.When you use your our glove, you are removing dead skin cells and dirt, leaving you with extremely soft and clean skin.   If
you're prone to ingrown hairs, then you definitely want to be using
exfoliating gloves before you shave (ideally the day before
you shave). Exfoliating before you shave is a serious pro tip for a
closer shave!

Will exfoliating fade my tattoo?

No, exfoliating will not fade your tattoos. Using a Wildpier exfoliating
glove will actually brighten the appearance of your tattoos as your
dead skin will gently be removed, revealing fresh new skin. 

Just
make sure that your tattoo is fully healed properly, and don't forget
to moisturize immediately after exfoliating, and to always wear
sunscreen over your tattoos when you're out in the sun. 

Can i use an exfoliation glove on my child?

All of our gloves can be used on children with adult supervision, however we would recommend using our Ultimate Exfoliation Glove or our Luxe Exfoliation Glove on children as they will provide a much gentler exfoliation.We always recommend consulting a physician to determine which products may be best for you. 

Can exfoliating gloves help reduce my keratosis pilaris?

There is no treatment that can cure keratosis pilaris, however, you can treat your skin to help keep your bumps at bay.

Since keratosis pilaris is caused by plugged hair follicles, using a Wildpier's exfoliating glove 1-2 times a week can gently smooth the skin, and reduce your bumps appearance. As
dry skin can often make Keratosis pilaris appear worse, it's always
important to moisturize your skin immediately following a bath or
shower.
